Abstract

The names of the seasons have always given a great deal of importance to linguists and other scholars. So deeply rooted in Basque culture, many people have expressed their views in one way or another. In order to give a proper structure to this subject, the author proposes to use ethnolinguistic methodology, that is, to bring out the indispensable bridge between lexicon and culture. To this end, this study is guided by a classification based on general notions.
