A practical description of orality, divided up into three parts. The first clarifies how a written text is brought to life by the actor in the theater and how important dialect and variety of register are when creating characters. The second deals with applying textual in -terpretation: the result of fourteen years' experience in training new actors in the Workshop of Performing Arts in Donostia-San Sebastian. And the third attempts to show how drama is an excellent tool for working on oral skills in all spheres, particularly in teaching. The objective of these reflections is to show that pronunciation can be developed, studied and Taught by means of many recordings.
