The dominant perspective in the Iberian context fixes an unquestionable implicit connection between Francoism and censorship. The theoretical frameworks derived from this fixed connection, have too rigid limits to explain certain types of censorship that occur in different contexts. When it comes to analyzing the elements that limited the literature of Jon Mirande, the need for a theoretical revision is latent at the dawn of new proposals that have been developed in international spheres. In order to delve deeper into Basque literary censorship during the Francoist regime, we have to resort not only to conceptual decentralization, but also geographical and temporal.
