Abstract

What it is not necessary disappears. Darwin proved this statement with his theorem of natural selection. The vital force of the Basque language depends on the usage of this in the society. The article suggests a new paradigm for the linguistic revival: The Paradigm of the Cart. According to this paradigm, the force that moves the cart of the language is the natural need of communication. A language without that need, as Darwin predicted, are in the way of extinction.
