Abstract

A description of the Royal Galician Academy’s grammar project. The explanation is structured in five parts: the commission and its conditions; the general characteristics of the grammar; the criteria for the elaboration of modern standard Galician and its repercussions on this project; the definition of the syntactic standard; the team, status of work and prospects for completion.
