Abstract

Some paired concepts which must be borne in mind when analyzing word organization are presented: option and obligation, syntactical flexibility and semantic content rigidity, convention and comprehensibility, stylistic dynamics and being evolutionary. The author considers that translation theory is helpful in studying this topic.
